The rate of people in middle age who are interest in their appearance are getting higher and higher as age of working goes high. Procedure for wrinkle changes their look into younger looks, and it attracts people who are in their middle ages.
However, not everyone who has antiaging surgery are satisfied with their results.

Thus, we had time to talk about wrinkle surgery with Dr. Yoon Chang Woon.

Q) Why do people want to have double eyelid surgery when they are aged?
When skin starts being aged, wrinkle around eyes appears first. Especially, as upper eyelid comes loose, it leads to functional problems such as inflammation, stinging pupils and eye vision. Also, it can make your face bad, people consider about eyelid surgery. However, they shouldn’t have just eyelid surgery but upper blepharoplasty which removes sagging skin together.

Q) What if they have bulging skin under their eyes?
It is pretty common symptom for people who are in their middle age. As muscle which is covering fat under eyes gets weak, fat can be protruded. For young people, they just need removing or repositioning the fat through conjunctiva, but for people who are aged and already have sagging skin, we perform lower blepharoplasty which remove sagging skin and fat at the same time.

Q) What if they want overall tight face?
If they want to have tight face without wrinkle, face lift and forehead lift are effective the most. They pull the sagging skin and then remove the rest of skin, and it can improve wrinkles around mouth, cheeks, nasolabial areas, neck and forehead, so complete natural and tight face.

Q) Is there any side effect after wrinkle surgery?
Since skin around eyes is thin, if they incise excessively or perform with wrong procedure, it can cause ectropion which red skin turns over, or problem which takes away volume with too much pull.
In the case for face lift, it is the important to pull not only flesh but also SMAS layers between subcutaneous fat and muscle. Therefore, if they don’t consider about direction of pull enough, they can have problems that their eyes and mouth seem crumpled and uneven, pixie ears, and damage of nerve.
