Common misconceptions about plastic surgery

1. Is it bad idea to have surgery in summer?

People easily think that having plastic surgery in summer might be reason of inflammation, so they think winter is only right season for it. However, although there are some procedures which are sensitive about humidity and temperature, inflammation and infection are more related to hygiene of operation room and personal management.



2. It is better to have plastic surgery when they are young?

Lots of people have wrong idea that there is short down time and unnoticeable when they go through surgery at young age, but it is not true and it is more ideal when their bodys are grown up 90% at least.

Especially, facial bone, nasal bone and breast finish growing up when they reach 18 years, so for the procedures, people should have surgery after 18 years.


3. Tip of nose turned red in winter after surgery?

There is myth that their nose turn red in winter because nasal implant is frozen, but it is just a side effect when their nose got botched. If the surgery is done in wrong way, like surgeon put implant without understanding structure of nose or skin, so skin is continuously pressed. As the result, skin becomes thin and looks red. To solve problem after surgery, diagnosis and decision of doctor are needed.


4. How about crease to get big eyes?

If you desire big eyes, you might be obsessed with thick crease. However, think crease doesn’t always give big eyes to everyone. It is better choice that figuring out suitable eye shape and height for you.
